I have began recording advertising for commercial radio in 1996 although I had previous experience in recording for a teach yourself English Book for in 1985.

I recorded adverts for the Sony award winning Moray Firth Radio based in Inverness, Scotland for about 3 or 4 years until they were bought over by SRH. Although I no longer make new advertising for them, SRH are still broadcasting in 2005 some of the adverts I made almost 6 years ago.

Small-scale corporate and hotel entertainment

Since 1995 I have worked with "The Birdies Cage" theatre company in performances throughout Scotland. We perform a variety of murder-mystery, banquet and Scottish themed evenings both directly for hotels and venues and also for corporate clients wishing an evening out. We have also created bespoke Celtic wedding ceremonies in association with registrars and ministers of religion.

Burns Nights

In association with "The Birdies Cage" company I can provide a Burns themed evening with both poetry and sketches based on the life of Robert Burns. This is available with two or three performers one of whom will be a musician - details available on request. References include 2 years at Glenmorangie House Hotel and the 2005 Rotary Club of York Charter dinner. I also do Burns recitals on my own as part of more traditional Burns nights.

Scottish themed evenings.

I started performing a one man show in 1999 at Kilconquhar Country Estates in the ancient Kingdom of Fife on a semi- regular basis. The evening, called a Taste of Scotland, was a light hearted and "almost factual" look at Scottish History with bits of Burns and other literary characters thrown in. It was designed to be performed in a dining room session and was provided as entertainment for a "Scottish Dinner" evening. This show is also available as a two man production with an added musical accompanist. Since about 2001 the show has been done as part of a Storytelling evening based at Glenmorangie House at Cadbol on certain specialist themed weekends.
